Supply Chain Management

Overview

Overall process efficiency is achieved by optimising the entire process supply chain. The elimination of waste in processes is carried out in stages. One of the stages is the optimisation of the entire supply chain management system, where it will be necessary to have:

  • A global system of production planning, which includes the Master Plan Scheduling (MPS) that includes forecasts, the production plan, the adequacy of resources and the management of the order book (queue management).
  • Optimise purchasing and warehouse management with the new requirements of a Lean system.
  • Control and optimise internal and external material flows.
  • Integrate the supply chain into the design of future processes with Lean industrialisation control.

Outcomes

  • Reduction of materials in stock
  • Reduction of obsolete materials
  • Improved stock rotation
  • Increased reactivity of organisations
  • Facilitates management with suppliers
  • Elimination of waste in processes and improvement of productivity.

How we achieve it

  • Through a global project that should overlap with a process improvement project to ensure consistency of actions and decisions taken.
  • Training in supply chain concepts
  • Definition of a work plan
  • Phased implementation (from inward to outward)
  • Training of the teams in the different tools and management system.
