The event was organized along with this organization and Elara Ingenieros and was attended by over 70 industrial companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting focused on the transformation the industry is experimenting and how companies are evolving into smart factories. A new paradigm based on <strong>operational excellence<\/strong> where the <strong>advanced digital technologies<\/strong> enable changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACMP\u2019s CEO, Iosu Palacios, took part with a talk entitled \u201c<strong>Towards the smart factory: Lean 4.0 and Advanced MES Solution<\/strong>\u201d accompanied by \u00cd\u00f1igo Navarro from Elara. The presentation addressed the interplay between <strong>lean management methods and Industry 4.0. <\/strong>The integrated application of both approaches paves the way to operational excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Operational excellence:<br>value creation, capable processes,<br>flexibility and efficiency,<br>costs reduction and talent.<\/p><cite>Iosu Palacios<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, representatives from <strong>Panishop<\/strong> and <strong>BSH Electrodom\u00e9sticos<\/strong> presented their company\u2019s ongoing transformation projects on this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session closed with a round table in which representatives of the <strong>National Center for Technology and Food Safety<\/strong> (CNTA) and the <strong>Technological Institute of Aragon<\/strong> (ITAINNOVA) discussed on the new phase that begins for the industry determined by the irruption of technologies 4.0 and the need for optimum manufacturing processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter wp-image-4821\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/acmplean.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Ecosistema4Fotofamilia-1024x547.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4821\"\/><figcaption>Left to right: \u00ef\u00f1igo Navarro (Elara), Javier Vi\u00f1al y Antonio R\u00e9bola (Panishop), Javier I.
