Overview<\/span><\/h3>\n

T<\/span>PM<\/strong> or<\/span>Total Productive Maintenance<\/em>is an integrated system that combines different continuous improvement methodologies and tools. TPM seeks waste elimination in production systems and helps to achieve the company\u2019s strategic objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n

This approach<\/span> improves the company\u2019s overall efficiency<\/strong> by eliminating production waste and its causes with the employees\u2019 active participation. Implementation is based on five principles: <\/span>production<\/strong> efficiency control,<\/span> product and production<\/strong> equipment design,<\/span> product quality,<\/strong> functional services<\/span> efficienc<\/strong>y (energy,<\/span> etc.) and<\/strong> working conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n
